Scott posesses more than 35 years of award-winning experience in branding, marketing, and content publishing. He ran a successful brand agency in Scottsdale, Arizona for 16 years and was recognized as a top agency in the state. His clients included public companies such as Lifelock, Isagenix, Ebay Corporation, and Mobile Mini. His presentations have helped start-ups raise more than $80M in investor capital. He is a published author of a self-help non-fiction book and 18 children’s books for the likes of Disney, Fox Studios, Hasbro, NASCAR, Nature Conservancy, and the Audubon Society. Scott launched and ran a popular adventure channel on YouTube and co-hosted a show called “The Pursuit of Cabin Living” that consistantly saw more than 100,000 monthly viewers from over 50 countries. Among more than 10 national awards he has received for design, he has been recognized by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences at the 14th Annual Webby Awards for web design. Scott is the cofounder of Outpost Alliance and copublisher of Enchanted Outpost Magazine. He also acts as the Creative Director and Lead Designer of the publication. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, cross-country mountain biking, skiing, fishing, adventure travel, photography, and researching—and creative writing about—intellectual subjects.
Heather began her career as a Cosmetologists and over the course of 18 years in the field, launched and successfully operated three boutique hair salons in Michigan and Arizona. Her business ownership experience translates to an understanding of local and regional business entreprenurial needs and her attention to style trends strongly influences the presentation of the overall magazine look and feel. Heather was the co-host of a popular YouTube show called “The Pursuit of Cabin Living” that consistently saw more than 100,000 monthly viewers from over 50 countries. She is an avid photographer who focuses on storytelling through her photo essays. Heather is the cofounder of Outpost Alliance and copublisher of Enchanted Outpost Magazine. In her free time, she enjoys ultra trail running, cross-country mountain biking, adventure travel, singing, and playing both the piano and acoustic guitar.
Lauren is an award-winning writer, editor, and publishing expert with 20+ years of experience in journalism and book publishing. She loves telling the stories of people, places, and culture, and her work has been featured in Noisey/VICE, WHERE Denver and Tucson, Phoenix Magazine, and more. She’s had the privilege of interviewing such cultural icons such as Nicholas Sparks, Robert Plant, and Dolly Parton, as well as celebrity chefs, artists, and industry pioneers. She edits a range of books and magazine content and regularly speaks at publishing conferences. Lauren lives in Arizona, surrounded by a lively mix of family and desert critters, and an ever-growing collection of vinyl records and books. When she’s not shaping narratives or strategizing book launches, she can be found attempting to garden in the desert sun, volunteering in the community, perfecting recipes, or planning her next trip. She believes that every great story, whether in print or in song, has the power to connect, inspire, and endure.
Collin graduated with a degree in business management from the Collangelo School of Business at Grand Canyon University in Arizona. Following graduation, he was recruited into the sales program at United Healthcare, was formally trained in sales methodology, and successfully gained insurance sales licensing in 32 US states. As a member of the sales team at UHC, Collin was consistently recognized in the top five sales personnel among his team and often at the top of more than 80 members of the overall group. As the son of the magazine founders, he was recruited in the spring of 2025 as Director of Sales to oversee customer relations and team management. In his free time, he enjoys photography, target-shooting, thrifting, and on-stage singing.
